lightly salted in vermonty
we just got back from working and playing in stratton vermont, so sorry for the delays... rain and icy love, good for the footing and the soul.
first, i started a blog for the shop planned to be open may or june of 2008, on the boardwalk in asbury park, nj. lightly salted surf shop is the name, and the .blogspot is the place. i will update as concrete progress continues...
secondly, i have begun photo work on my fin love project hopefully having a place in a big white-walled gallery this summer. anyone out there interested in hearing more on it should contact me for the secret information that will impress, i hope. at least it is a good story with a long and interesting heritage. this is step one in a multi step process i have been hatching for some time now.
i've also been doing some painting, here is the genesis of that, i will update the progress as soon as i stretch the third canvas in the series. enjoy.

the rainbowed south
i'm still reeling from getting jolted back to reality and all the cold weather. i kinda wish i was still in the other continent, feeling that equatorial sun, and drinking those grande pilsners.
so i'd figure i'd get some more pics up, added to which i shot a pic of the namesake of this blog. here is a shot of my sweetness the rainbow hot-buttered single. she is a rocket and deserves to get surfed more than she does. but sometimes i have a problem with that...
i mean, i kinda don't want to break her in. sometimes i'd rather just take her down from the ceiling and feel the rails and imagine riding her every time there is waves. i guess that is why i have some beaters still around, to beat... i began work on the big canvas, i'll keep ya'll updated as she gets going.
